Our Mission Statement

Before becoming an independent distributor in the Leisure and Catering Sector, the present owners of Cascade Hygiene Systems had 24 years experience with a major chemical manufacturer in Scotland, specialising in kitchen hygiene and staff training to COSHH AWARENESS level.

From small beginnings in 1997, based from a warehouse on Gote Road, Cockermouth (now demolished), CASCADE grew rapidly in size and confidence until in September 2000 it acquired and moved into new premises on South Street.

From this base we offer a first class business support; supplying Industrial, Catering and Leisure Facilities in the West Cumbria area. Accounts outside Cumbria include three monthly serviced customers in Merseyside.

We strive to be price competitive with an emphasis on quality products controlled at point-of-use. We prefer to avoid unnecessary packaging, opting instead for bulk fill units and dilutable concentrates using re-useable dispensers.

Where possible, without compromising customer demands for quality, we choose re-cycled products from sustainable sources. We are always seeking to reduce product impact and improve our interaction with the environment.

We are a small company but with a growing reputation. Our customer base enjoy minimum stock holdings due to our prompt deliveries and our economy-in-use systems. We do our utmost to respond promptly to queries and problem solving.
